Chest Freezer vs Upright Freezer: Which Should You Buy?
Chest freezers and upright freezers both keep food frozen, but they suit different households and spaces.
Chest freezers are generally more energy efficient because cold air sinks and stays inside when the lid opens, but organising food inside can be harder.
Upright freezers take up less floor space and make it easier to see and access items, though they can lose more cold air each time the door opens.
Whichever type you choose, correct freezer installation matters for efficient cooling. Findafix technicians handle positioning, levelling, and cooling tests for new deep freezer and upright freezer installations across Nairobi.
